Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Vivid Menu: Beyond Translation ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Vivid Menu uses your device camera and AI-powered services to analyze restaurant menus and provide translations, descriptions, and cultural context. The App is provided on an "as is" basis. Translation accuracy is not guaranteed.
Discovery Points
The App uses a virtual currency called Discovery Points to access the tap-to-translate feature. Discovery Points have no monetary value, cannot be transferred, and expire if your account is deleted. Free points are granted on first launch; additional points may be purchased.
In-App Purchases
The App offers the following paid options, processed through Apple's App Store:
- Discovery Points Pack — a one-time consumable purchase that adds Discovery Points to your balance. All sales are final. No refunds except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy.
- Monthly Premium Subscription — an auto-renewable subscription providing unlimited translations for one month. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. No refund is issued for unused portions of a subscription period.
Prices may change at any time. Price changes will take effect at the next renewal period for existing subscribers.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
- Use automated means to access the App's backend services
- Submit abusive, harassing, or illegal content via the feedback feature
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of translations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gengcong Yang shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
